Digital videos, pictures, blog entries, SMS messages, are some of the ways that people are not waiting for the mass media to tell the story. An alternative, real-time, very decentralized story (or rather cloud of stories) is being told. But of course finding all these stories is extremely difficult. You can't turn on the news.
